Mount Abu is an oasis in the desert land of Rajasthan, which is located at an altitude of 1220 m above sea level. Main Attractions of Mount Abu

Gaumukh Temple

This is an interesting temple in the form of a spring (natural) flowing through a sculpted cow's head. The legend goes that the great sage Vashishtha once performed a yagna here.

Dilwara Jain Temple

The epitome of architectural brilliance, these temples are a must-visit attractions of Mount Abu. Built in the period between 11th to 13th century AD, the temple was built in honour of the Jain Tirthankaras. Fashioned in white marble, the temple is beautifully carved. The temple complex houses around 52 small shrines.

Shri Raghunathji Temple

Built in the 14th century in honour of Lord Raghunathji, this beautiful temple is located near the wondrous Nakki lake.

Nakki Lake

It is a wonderful lake surrounded by hills and amazing rock formations. According to the legend this lake was dig out by the heavenly deity by his nails (nakh).

Museum and Art Gallery

This museum houses a rare and interesting collection of archaeological excavations belonging to the 8th to 12th century A.D.

View Points

There is a sunset point in Mount Abu which is famous for offering breathtaking sunset views. The other points are honeymoon point and the Shanti Shikhar.
