I had fellow New Zealand, Rockhampton and Tassie stay at the hotel for three days but I'm living in Brisbane I took a night out for me, my partner and two children are pleasant, overtaking the school friends of old.
We have stayed in many hotels in Brisbane, so I decided to try the Royal because of its position near the Botanical Gardens.
Upon arrival, the doorman on duty was an old gentlemen in the Es as small and had no need of help with our luggage ...... Not a good start. The room, though a little old man apparently had a good bed, crisp linens, pillows good. Young people were sleeping on a sofa-bed style couch that was right for them. Fortunately, while I was there I walked by a chef, was asked if he has attended, waiting for coffee, he said, no problems related to the cook what I like and then did so for him, you can coffee, proper temperature, good coffee.
Our room was huge, 637, basically was 2 rooms joined together to form a huge Cushty.
Then cleared the table, see the children quite bored and went to the reception and have some pens and paper to draw girls. Everything was friendly and helpful staff to plan accordingly.
Lunch at the restaurant, apparently excellent, my friends husband in NZ in shelters for a long time I thought the food was great, the staff of eateries a little young, but pleasant. Overall experience was very good, very few small problems with staff and comfortable hotel, centrally located facilities need an upgrade OK, the food the neatest thing, Things to food as good and the staff of the poor service, breakfast Sundays. very busy, expect little, but well, we accept. When checking my man wrote about the service, just to give them feedback, a lady emerged from a room in a flash and asked if we wanted to make a complaint by the chef, you know what they are like cooks, he said. Confused my husband told the chef, in fact, was the highlight of the stay and was very helpful, it is just turned and disappeared. Good Job Chef!, Should have asked to name Es, but did not.
The room was in the hallway in another room and king size bed needed to be one of the most Cushty hotel beds we slept in a long, long time. The room was spacious with a lovely sofa, television and large closets.
There is a very nice outdoor pool, a gym and a bar and restaurant.
Overall - We totally loved our comfortable bedroom, but a little strange in the design was very comfortable and I recommend that the luxury Spa Suite book if you are looking Spacewar liked the hotel room, its lovely to get around Brisbane and If you enjoy your just awesome on mooching through the Botanical Gardens on the seafront of the South-bank. The hotel is dated just about the facade and lobby reception, in any case, we find that it is a very comfortable hotel.
